welcome to my homepage! name's miyabi, but i've gone under multiple names in the past. i'm in my 30s, live with my family and am disabled - no "real" job of my own, but i try to be a passionate artist as often as possible! drawing fun characters ever since early childhood - art was always a hobby of mine. during high school i was usually doing art and music-related things - background in clarinet and oboe. earned a certificate for interactive media at graduation in 2014. got a bachelor of arts in art practices from portland state university in 2021. my career's been in limbo, but i've found great opportunities to share my art with the world via the internet as well as in-person events! been selling art at events since 2019 and recently opened an online store for merch.

expect a lot of furry and human art! my biggest influences are retro anime, fighting games, and western toons. most of what you'll see will have something to do with my original ideas. sometimes i sketch automobiles to loosen up, namely retro japanese models. digital art has becoming a nice luxury as i don't have to worry about mistakes, but i keep up traditional art as much as i can. tools-of-the-trade are an xp-pen innovator 16, a whole lot of colored pencils and copic markers.

my online journey started in 2008, with deviantart. dabbled in sonic and pokemon fanart, eventually realized drawing women was pretty nice. down the line i discovered the furry fandom where i ended up clicking with many cool peeps! exploring kinks and niche interests became a daily tool for my art, so keep that in mind when you're browsing the gallery, haha
